Our History of Dedicated Care

When Dr. Leonard Okada first opened this practice in 1964, it was a one-man show. Not only did he practice optometry full time, he also took care of the business end of things himself.

It didn’t take long, however, for his hard work, business acumen, and caring attitude to pay off. Dr. Okada soon found himself hiring a full-time receptionist, and taking on another optometrist, in order to keep up with his popular, fast-growing practice.

Over the years, Charlottetown Vision Clinic has built a reputation for quality service with a ready smile.

Looking Forward

These days, Dr. Okada’s daughter, Dr. Jessica Garcia, is running the practice her father started.

Dr. Garcia maintains the quality, professional service her father was so well known for, as well as the caring, compassionate manner that made him so popular with his patients.
